Giuseppe De Marco
Giuseppe De Marco, born in Tricase (LE) on 19.08.1972, started studying at “C.R.S.E.C." with Master Giuseppe De Giorgi and got his degree in Trombone, with full marks, in 1993 at the "Conservatorio di Musica Statale “Tito Schipa” di Lecce" with Master Giuseppe Candido. He kept studying then with Master Andrea Conti (1st Trombone at "Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia”).
He attended several Masterclasses including the ones with Michael Mulcahy (2nd Trombone "C. S. O."), Charles Vernon (Bass Trombone "C. S. O."), Rex Martin (Northwestern University Chicago), Jay Friedman (1st Trombone "C .S. O.") Andrea Conti (1st Trombone "Accademia Santa Cecilia"), Daniele Morandini (1st "Trombone Teatro alla Scala”) and others.
In 2010 he attended the ’Alessi seminar, held by Joseph Alessi (1st trombone New York Philarmonic).
From 1996 he is 1st Trombone at the "’Orchestra della Fondazione I.C.O. “Tito Schipa” di Lecce”.
He worked and collaborated with many institutional associations like "Petruzzelli di Bari”, "Orchestra di Cordoba", "Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia", "Orchestra Internazionale d’Italia". He also worked with many conductors such as P. Bellugi, G. Kuhn, D. Renzetti, A. Ceccato, R. Bonynge, V. Delmann, A. Guingal, S. Ranzani, G. Györyvanyi Rath, E. Mazzola, H. Schellenberger, F.Luisi, S. Accardo, M. Panni, A. Pappano and many others.
He recorded many cds and he also participated to several TV shows on "Rai Uno”, "Canale 5" and “TeleMontecarlo".
He’s also soloist and part of different formations of chamber music like Ensemble del Sud, directed by Master Marcello Panni.
From 2002 to 2014 he has been teacher of Trumpet and Trombone at the "Conservatorio Di Musica di Ceglie Messapica (Br)”, which is part of "Conservatorio di Musica Statale “Tito Schipa” di Lecce". From 2014 he holds the Chair of Trombone at the "Conservatorio Statale “Umberto Giordano” di Foggia”.
